Papo MC redefines success: “I don’t play poker for money” after his $12 million win
Alejandro Lococo, better known as Papo MC, has made an indelible mark in the poker world after winning the prestigious Triton Millions. However, his $12 million prize wasn’t the most surprising part—his statement was: "I don’t play poker for money."
In an exclusive interview with the OLGA channel, Papo reflected on his incredible personal journey in 2024. From losing over 30 kilos to adopting a healthier lifestyle, Lococo credits these changes for his success in the Triton Millions.
Player statements
“Money is a beautiful bonus, but what I truly love is playing poker with heart,” he remarked, emphasizing that he sees winnings as "points" rather than a goal.
Papo also humbly acknowledged that he doesn’t consider himself the world’s best player, a title he attributes to stars like Adrián Mateos, but he remains determined to improve every day.
With humility and passion, Papo MC continues to inspire players worldwide, proving that true success in poker transcends money.
