    Sweepstakes Gaming allows users to play casino and poker-style games without directly wagering real money. Instead, they purchase virtual coins or receive free credits, with the chance to win cash prizes.

      Why is New Jersey Regulating It?

        Although many Sweepstakes Gaming platforms claim to operate legally, the lack of clear regulations has led to confusion for both players and regulators. The new law aims to:

        • Differentiate it from traditional gambling, preventing platforms from being classified as illegal casinos.
