Hijack Poker Makes History as Texas’ First Legal Online Poker Room

Texas, a state with a deep-rooted poker culture, has taken a historic step with the launch of Hijack Poker, the first legal online poker room in the region. This innovative project, developed by Texas Card House (TCH), allows Texas residents to legally play from the comfort of their homes.

    How Does Hijack Poker Work?

    • Exclusive access for Texas residents, complying with state regulations.

    • Membership-based model, similar to TCH’s physical clubs.

    • Variety of games including No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha.

    • User-friendly app available on multiple devices.

    Is It Legal?

Hijack Poker operates under the same legal framework as Texas’ physical poker clubs, avoiding rake and functioning through membership fees, making it a fully regulated option within the state.

Impact on Online Poker in the U.S.

With Texas legally entering the online poker space, other states may follow suit, strengthening the industry and creating new opportunities for players.
