The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP Circuit) at Harrah’s Cherokee witnessed an unexpected turn of events last Sunday as an unidentified man caused a major disturbance. In a fit of rage, he flipped three poker tables, scattering chips and leaving players in shock.
The disruption occurred on Day 2 of the Main Event, a $1,700 buy-in tournament with 65 remaining players. A video captured by WPT Executive Tournament Director Matt Savage shows the man aggressively flipping tables before being stopped by security.

Tournament staff acted swiftly to contain the situation, halting the event momentarily to review security footage and reconstruct chip stacks. Eyewitnesses reported that the man shouted incoherent statements, adding mystery to the motives behind his actions.
The incident sparked heated discussions across social media, with players and fans expressing disbelief. Four-time WSOP Circuit ring winner David Moses was among the first to share footage of the chaos inside the poker room.
Despite the shocking event, the WSOP Circuit moves forward, with upcoming stops in Horseshoe Baltimore, Indiana, and Oklahoma.
