On May 21st, the “Matiz Perelada” event brought together leaders from public institutions, health experts, legal professionals, and gaming industry figures at Castillo de Peralada to discuss responsible gaming, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and sustainability.
Hosted alongside Jacqueline Mecinas and the Responsible Gaming Awards, the event opened with the III CSR and Responsible Gaming Breakfast. Miguel Suqué, president of Casinos Grup Peralada, stated: “Entertainment is only sustainable when rooted in responsibility, transparency, and ethics.”
During the expert panel, Pol González, Head of CSR and Responsible Gaming, highlighted the group's 30+ years of commitment to sustainable gaming, including partnerships with Hospital de Bellvitge and IDIBELL to develop innovative educational and therapeutic tools such as serious games.

Additional initiatives such as the Human@ project (employee well-being), the Carmen Mateu Awards, and Dit-Dit (a therapeutic dance project for Alzheimer’s patients) were showcased.
The day concluded with a cultural tour of the castle, gourmet dining with local produce, and a visit to the LEED GOLD-certified Perelada Winery, underscoring the group’s dedication to ecological and cultural excellence.
