How to read this comparison
The table above sums up the deal Habwin has with each room in four figures: the network it belongs to, the rakeback it returns, the welcome bonus and the software it runs on. What follows explains what each column means and who each room is for, so you can choose on the terms and not on the logo.
- Rakeback is the share of the rake (the fee the room takes from every pot or tournament entry) that you get back. It is the figure that matters most over time: a player generating $500 of rake a month gets $325 back at 65% and $50 at 10%. When a room does not publish a rakeback figure the column shows a dash. That means no data, not zero.
- Network is the group of rooms that share tables and players. A bigger network means more traffic and more tables open at any hour, and also tougher opponents at the higher stakes.
- Welcome bonus is extra money on your first deposit, almost always released in steps as you generate rake. It complements the rakeback, it does not replace it: the bonus is paid once, the rakeback every month.
- Software lists the devices the room runs on. Almost all have clients for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android; Poker King is Windows only.
- Deposits are the methods each review page lists. The rooms in this comparison accept e-wallets (Neteller, Skrill), cards and, in several cases, cryptocurrencies.
The rooms, one by one
PokerStars: 40% rakeback
The reference room of online poker, with high traffic at any hour and the widest range of tournaments and variants. The deal through Habwin returns 40% of your rake on top of the welcome bonus on your first deposit ($600 plus $30 on the review page). Deposits with Neteller, Skrill, Visa, Mastercard, WebMoney and ecoPayz. Who it is for: players who want tables at any hour, big tournament series and games beyond Hold'em, and accept stronger opponents in return.
ChampionPoker: 30% rakeback
A room on the iPoker network with 30% rakeback through Habwin and no welcome bonus: the whole deal is rakeback. Deposits in cryptocurrency. Who it is for: players who prefer a fixed monthly percentage to a bonus released in steps and already use crypto. iPoker traffic is medium, with a good offer at low and mid stakes.
TigerGaming: 10% rakeback
A room on the Chico network with the lowest rakeback in the comparison (10%), offset by a welcome bonus of up to $1,000. Deposits with Neteller, Skrill, Visa, Mastercard, cryptocurrency and ecoPayz. Who it is for: low-stakes players who value softer tables over the percentage returned, and anyone depositing a large amount up front who wants to make the most of the bonus.
Betsafe: 30% rakeback
A major betting and casino brand with a poker room on the iPoker network: one balance for everything. 30% rakeback through Habwin and a welcome bonus on the first deposit (amount and terms on the review page). Deposits with Neteller, Skrill and Visa. Who it is for: players who also bet on sports or play casino and want a single account, with medium poker traffic.
Poker King: 65% rakeback
The highest rakeback in the comparison: 65% through Habwin, on the Winning network, with high traffic and a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Hand histories can be downloaded free of charge. Windows client only. Deposits with Neteller, Skrill, cryptocurrency and ecoPayz. Who it is for: volume players who want to maximise what they get back every month. If you play on Mac or mobile, this is not your room.
Bwin.com: rakeback not published
A betting brand whose poker room sits on the PartyPoker network, which gives it high traffic. The rakeback through Habwin is not published on the review page (hence the dash in the table); the bonus and terms are on the review page. Free hand history download. Deposits with Neteller, Skrill, Visa, Mastercard and WebMoney. Who it is for: players who already bet with Bwin and want to play poker from the same balance. If rakeback is your priority, PartyPoker, on the same network, publishes it.
PartyPoker: 60% rakeback
One of the historic networks, with high traffic, 60% rakeback through Habwin and a 100% welcome bonus up to $600. Free hand history download. Deposits with Neteller, Skrill, Visa, Mastercard and WebMoney. Who it is for: players who want a big network and a high rakeback at the same time. It is the direct alternative to PokerStars with 20 points more returned.
CoinPoker: 33% rakeback
A room that runs entirely on cryptocurrency: deposits and withdrawals in USDT and other coins, no cards or traditional e-wallets. 33% rakeback through Habwin, high traffic and a 150% bonus up to $2,000. Who it is for: players who already hold crypto and want fast withdrawals without banks in between. If you have never used crypto, the learning curve is steeper.
WPT Global: 40% rakeback
The room of the World Poker Tour brand, with its own network, high traffic and 40% rakeback through Habwin. 100% welcome bonus up to $1,200 and free tournament tickets as detailed on the review page. Deposits with Neteller, Skrill, Mastercard and cryptocurrency. Who it is for: players who want tournaments and satellites to live events, and a more recreational field than the veteran networks.
How rakeback through Habwin works
Habwin is not a poker room. We negotiate the terms with each room, publish every deal in full on its review page, and the room pays us as an affiliate when you sign up through our link. It costs you nothing: the rakeback and bonus you see here are what you receive. Each review page walks you through creating the account and, where the room requires it, linking it to Habwin.
Rakeback is calculated on the rake you generate: the fee the room keeps from every pot at real-money tables or the entry fee of every tournament. That is why it is worth more the more you play, and why 65% and 10% are deals for different kinds of player.
How we choose and order the rooms
We only list rooms we have a direct deal with and whose terms we can publish in full. The order of the table is editorial: it combines traffic, terms and reliability of payments. You can re-sort it by rakeback by clicking the column header. Figures are reviewed whenever a deal changes, and the date of the last review appears at the top of this section.
All nine rooms accept players from most countries in Latin America and the rest of the world. Each room publishes its own list of excluded countries in its terms; check it before depositing. Our guides to online poker in Mexico and online poker in Argentina cover those two countries in detail.
Frequently asked questions
What is rakeback?
The percentage of the rake you paid that is returned to you. If you generate $200 of rake in a month at a room with 40% rakeback, you get $80 back.
Which room has the highest rakeback?
Poker King, at 65%. Then PartyPoker at 60%, and PokerStars and WPT Global at 40%.
Which rooms have the most traffic?
The review pages mark traffic as high at PokerStars, Poker King, Bwin.com, PartyPoker, CoinPoker and WPT Global, and medium at ChampionPoker, TigerGaming and Betsafe.
Can I play from Mexico, Argentina, Colombia or Peru?
All nine rooms in this comparison accept international sign-ups. Each one publishes its excluded countries; check them before depositing, and read our country guides for Mexico and Argentina.
What does Habwin cost?
Nothing. The rooms pay us as affiliates when you sign up through our link.
Is a big bonus better than a high rakeback?
It depends on your volume. The bonus is paid once and usually released in steps; the rakeback is paid for as long as you play. With volume, the rakeback weighs more.
Can I have accounts at several rooms?
Yes. They are independent accounts and each deal applies separately.
What if I already have an account at a room?
The deals apply to accounts created through Habwin. If you already have an account, write to info@habwin.com and we will tell you what options exist at that room.
